Providing you a safe space.

We have built a space that is both nurturing and uplifting. We are compassionate empathic and empowering as a team. We believe in honesty and truth in our communication with you and your family and work with a solution-focused mindset, enabling each of our extraordinary clients and families to feel safely guided and held on this path towards a more positive and enriched life experience.

Creative Therapy Village champions the profound power of evidence-based creative therapies, including play therapy and art therapy, seamlessly integrated with trauma-informed counselling. These modalities are exceptionally effective in supporting victims of family violence, sexual assault, and grief and loss, particularly where verbal expression is challenging. Our therapeutic approach with children, young people, and adults is meticulously aligned with the Australian National Minimum Practice Standards for specialist and community support services responding to child sexual abuse. We deeply value the wisdom and knowledge embedded within a family systemic approach to therapy. This perspective recognises that trauma, especially from experiences like family violence and sexual assault, often reverberates across generations. By understanding and addressing these inter-generational trauma patterns, we work to heal not just individuals but entire family units. This systemic lens enables us to identify and disrupt cycles of harm, fostering healthier relational dynamics and breaking abusive patterns. We are immensely proud to be
part of this vital, supportive movement dedicated to safeguarding individuals and empowering families to heal and thrive, ensuring a brighter future free from the legacy of abuse

Come and say Hi!

We have created a space that is also low demand if required, acknowledging the challenges faced by our most vulnerable adults and children. Dimmable lighting, insulated counselling rooms for noise reduction for those with Sensory Disorders or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome we will offer shorter appointments, blackout blinds and for those living with Orthostatic Intolerance or POTS we offer a chair that can lay back to ensure you have access to the services you deserve while protecting your circulation! We have rooms that are wheelchair and reduced mobility accessible. Our goal is for our service to be as inclusive as possible!

The Willow Trust : Compassionate, Free Therapy for Our Community

Creative Therapy Village is proud to launch The Willow Trust, offering free, confidential therapeutic support to those impacted by sexual abuse and related trauma.

This vital initiative is made possible through a generous grant from the Commonwealth Government, reflecting a shared commitment to healing and community safety.

We understand that recent distressing events within childcare centres have deeply impacted our community. Navigating the pain, fear, and uncertainty—especially when protecting a child’s privacy—requires immense strength. We want you to know: we see you, and we hold a safe space for your pain.

Our Approach to Healing

Our trauma-informed therapists are here to support:

  • Victims and Survivors of sexual abuse, including inter-generational abuse.

  • Parents and Caregivers navigating the ambiguity of not knowing, helping you cope with uncertainty while caring for yourselves and your families.

  • Children and Young People who may be displaying sexualised behaviours as a result of trauma.

Creative Therapy Village believes in the power of a supportive community in healing trauma. Our practice is designed to be a true haven, combining clinical expertise with compassionate care.

  • For Children and Young People: We use evidence-based creative therapies, including Play Therapy and Art Therapy, to help gently process experiences and emotions that are difficult to articulate in words.

  • For Adults: Our trauma-informed and creative approach provides essential tools to navigate anxiety, grief, and the challenging task of supporting your children while prioritising your own well-being.
